SR-71

I think it was the 1986 air show where there was this big deal about having an SR-71 on the ground, with the double set of ropes (the one where the guards ask nicely and the one where they go bang).  At the 1999 air show there was an F117 on the ground with the double set of ropes.  There was also the SR-71 from the nearby air museum.  No ropes for the SR-71.  Just a whole lot of people using it for shade, with no apparent awareness of or respect for the black jet.  Kind of depressing I thought.
