Here's the updated version (with today's Dow Jones close) of my '% off all time max' chart. The last time it was this bad (46.56% off all time max) was August 4, 1949.
On the charts sheet I added a new chart with data from October 2007 (the most recent all time high) to present, compared to September 1929 (the last all time high before the Great Depression began) to February 1931. This chart compares the current 354 business days with the 354 business days leading into the Great Depression.
Clarification: It isn't exactly right to call the charts '% off all time max.' It would be more correct to call them '% of all time max.' The bottom of the trough in 1931/1932 means the Dow was at about 10% of its all time high, not 10% off its all time high. The Dow was off by about 90% of its all time high. Fine. Let's get an exact number...On July 8, 1942 (the worst day of the Great Depression, by this chart) the Dow was at 10.8141% of its all time high. The current (as of 3.5.09) all time high is 14163.53. For the Dow to be as bad now as it was on 7.8.42, it would have to close at or below 1531.65.
Here's my second page about 'work at home' scams. I also updated part of the first page.
Here's a page I made about 'work at home' scams.

Have you filled out the School Survey yet?
Figured i'd try my hand at one of those blog things. So, here's my blog. Since i'm about to take my master's degree tests (in education), most of what's there right now is stuff about Kliebard and his 4 groups. Dewey stuff will probably be next.
Finished and posted my School Survey! Everyone, please fill it out, even if it's been a long time since you've been in the classroom.
Coming soon...help with your math homework! Everything from basic math to calculus, probability, differential equations. Yes, I know, i'm just some guy. In this case, however, i'm just some guy with a degree in math and 16 years experience as a math tutor. Yes, I plan to charge for it. Probably use paypal, probably charge anywhere from about $1 (say, for algebra problems) up to $5 (say, for calculus and differentials). Will set it up so you can submit problems on a web page, then get a response either by email or fax.
2005 update to the Renfaire Page!
Clean Room: Small Medium Large
The Story Page is up! If you've ever read 'Choose Your Own Adventure' books, this should be familiar and, hopefully, fun. There's an explanation, instructions, and all that good stuff. There isn't much content there yet, so i'd really appreciate anyone who's willing to have a look and contribute.
I think GATOR IS SPYWARE.

Finally started
Geocaching
yesterday.
I found
this guy's site.
I was bored. Find out
what's in my desk drawer.
Good news- all 3 sites are completey moved over to
F2o.
Good people, good price. It turns out that the idiots at
Sitenames
were just one idiot.
I Hate Him
and
I Hate Her
are both up and running with a total of 19 stories now. Dot com success, here I come.
Okay, here I am, sort of, at my new host. The idiots at Sitenames haven't bothered to change over the IP yet (even though i've asked repeatedly), so I appear to still be sitting at the old place.
The other 2 sites ( I Hate Him and I Hate Her ) are up and running at f2o.org , but there are only the main pages so far.
Thinking about writing a Secret Code section. Basic stuff- shifts, substitutions, etc..
Okay, here I am at my new host, f2o.org . 2 1/2 times the space for 1/3 the price. Joy!
Coming soon are my other 2 sites: I Hate Him and I Hate Her .
